Baking Tools
Loaf Tin
Its function is to shape bread while it is rising during baking
Springform Pan
Round cake pan that features a removable bottom and sides. The sides are held together with an interlocking band that can be opened and removed once your baked good is out of the oven, leaving your cake on just the base.
Pie Tin
Round, shallow, slope-sided dish with a flat or fluted rim to hold the edge of a pie crust.
Muffin Pan
A muffin or cupcake tin is a mold in which muffins or cupcakes are baked
Angel Food Cake Pan
Also known as a tube pan, a tall, round pan with a tube up the center that leaves a hole in the middle of the cake. The center tube allows the cake batter to rise higher by 'clinging' to all sides of the pan
Bundt Pan
A tube-shaped baking pan with curves on the bottom of the pan that make a design on the top of the cake when it is unmolded.
Sheet Pan
Used for baking baking bread rolls, pastries and flat products such as cookies, sheet cakes, Swiss rolls and pizzas. Can be used for food storage
Double Boiler
Set of two nesting pots. The lower pot is used to heat water, which warms or cooks the ingredients in the top pot. Used to cook ingredients that require indirect or gentle heat.
Tart Pan
The fluting on this tart pan is to get the pastry to adhere and stay in place as it bakes.
